However, our immigration process really sucks.

Yup, it's pretty durn awful. That cheerful voice actually says goodbye and hangs up!
My best time to get through was between after 9:00 p.m. central time.

I called until they closed for the business day. Cannot get in.

Lesson learned, send e-mail. The thread above mentioned success this way, I will do that also.

I believe NVC is swamped with petitions now, I am not in denial, just a realist. The wait continues..........

Yeah try the email stuff. I also called NVC last week but to no avail and then I tried the email sure enough I sent last thursday and received a reply today.

Since I haven't been around I guess I am late to say Congrats Williams!

However, I am pretty frustrated at this point with NVC because I have no idea if my case made it to Vancouver or not. They said it went out on the 14th. However, DHL said they didn't pick any up for Vancouver until the 15th. Darcy and I have both emailed Vancouver to find out if they received and haven't received a reply as of yet. This wait is getting old too!

Ours was supposedly sent to Vancouver last week too but I just emailed them again, and they haven't received it yet.

I love it when you get that male voice that says something about "...how we can serve-ya".

Devilette predicted that this would happen.... there's an increase in the number of packet 3 questions on the board too.... all goes in waves.

Your salvation is in how fast things will go for you once you get your notice from the Embassy... a little more patience Will.... you're so close!

I got through in just a couple minutes but she seemed puzzled when I told her by noa2 was on the 9/11 and I was calling already. She goes 'I dont see you in the system, did you get a letter from us?'.

Thank you.... it is frustrating to spend 6 months waiting to be approved so things will move faster, just to get the NOA2 and realize NVC is getting slower.
I can't complain so much... it's only been 16 days for me. I guess I'm just very scared I'll have to wait a lot longer. I hope not!
