Does anybody know what is the time frame between the packet 3 of K-3 visa and interveiw date in islamabad, pakistan. my wife k-3 is at embassy.

she will need to turn all papers in at her interview. nothing to send in

I'm waiting on the same thing and have the same question. I received the last packet (with the DS-230 Part I) and sent it in (it has been received). The NVC will forward that information to the Embassy in 2 to 4 weeks. After that, I've read where people have said that you can contact the embassy and ask about the interview date and possibly request an earlier date. The interview date will be forwarded to your spouse in the final packet...call it 3.5 or 4, along with the medical stuff.

salmany you are talking about cr1 right?, and khatak go to embassy forum and you should be able to pick up islamabad embassy thread. also there is another thread in off topics, it starts with islamabad as well.

hafiz, yes I am talking about the CR1. I should post my timeline, but keep getting lazy about doing it. Congrats to you on the interview date. My I-129F was approved on the 18th. Looking forward to receiving a letter from NVC about my case being fwd'd to Islamabad....and hopefully, mid-late Sept, my wife should have her interview date.
