hello all jamal had his interview today we are so happy looks like everything is ok .they gave him a letter in english and she said they would call him in 1 or 2 weeks. he said the letter worried him cus it said he is unable to have his visa at this time and gave the reason below it was check for AP.Is this normal for it to say that ? He asked the women what it meant was everything ok or not she said relax just means washington has to do checks and then we will call and you will bring passport and get your visa !!!!! he said the blonde lady was very nice . thanks everyone for your support i know i dont post much but im allways working or with my girls. I am so greatful this forum is here thanks to all. when jamal is back and we can talk i will post in the reveiw forum of his interview

They didn't ask for an AOS?! That's not fair! I hope they don't need ours even though we sent it. I fear they will send it back asking for a co-sponsor!

Congratulations!! That's so exciting! Hopefully they'll complete the security checks quickly and he'll be on his way!

In Casa, for the K-1 interview, it seems they are not requiring an I-134 affadavit of support, however AOS does require an I-864 for AOS. She'll end up doing one down the road, but it's handy that she already has some information that she would need.

we havent had much time to talk just a quick phone call between my work then his fourteen hour bus ride. he did say the blonde lady was very nice i saw where others said she was not he said she was looking at the pictures of him and the girls for a long time then asked him if he loved the girls he ohhhhhh yes and she smiled.Told him a week or so they would call him back to bring his passport.When we have a chance to talk i will post everything. Thanks again for all the support i know we have to start a whole different thing once he is here but at least we will be together

Can someone please tell me what AOS is, and when does it occur?

AOS is "Adjustment of Status" and it happens after your marriage in US when you file K1. Your fiance visa is only good for 90 days, then you have to file for AOS to "adjust your status"

I also use it for Affidavit of Support. I guess maybe it should be AoS for the Affidavit, and AOS for adjustment. Gets confusing huh?
