My fiance went for his interview to CDJ on Aug 2nd and we were put on AR due to fingerprint clearance needed. From what I understand the fingerprints are sent to NVC for processing. I emailed NVC and they replied back to me today advising they have not received any information yet from CDJ concerning our petition. How long does it take for CDJ send fingerprints to NVC???? They have had them for 2 1/2 weeks. Just want to know if any of you have gone through this process. The only thing that is holding our case up is the fingerprints - rest of the interview was fine. I've tried to email CDJ and all they reply is that our case is under AR and we will be contacted once the review is completed. At interview the interviewer told my fiance it would be a 2 to 3 month delay. I hated this once my fiance told me b/c we were planning on him being in USA last weekend and a Sept wedding. But from everything I'm reading on VJ it looks like CDJ is really behind and I just pray he will be here in time for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Any experiences with fingerprints???
