Hi everyone!
I was wondering if a retiree is eligible to be a co-sponser on the affidavit of support. My fiance (US citizen) doesn't make nearly enough money to be my sponser on his own, but we don't have many people to ask to be our co-sponser. One possibility is his grandfather, but he is retired. Will this be a problem?
Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

As long as his retirement income is enough there should be no problems.... we used my husbands father (82) as our co-sponsor for AOS and it was no problem...
Good Luck

If the co-sponsor for the I-134 is a retiree, what does he/she write for question 7 of the form, which requires the sponser to state that he/she is "employed or engaged in the business of....."?
