With recent civil liberties crack downs in the name of safety and security--I wanted to see just who is likely to be stopped and arrested/detained by the Anti-Terror Goons.

Well first of all,I DO believe that banning all liquid from being brought into the cabin is a good thing,even though it is a pain in the a**.But thinking about somebody having the knowledge to make a bomb out of liqid that has been brought into the cabin- there should not be a question whether the new standards are justified.
But I DO umnderstand the question of this poll and I find it very very starnge AND dangerous that their focus now seems to be on completley different ppl then before.
I mean come on,how likely is it that a mother traveling with her child (ren) is going to blow up a plane???????Or an elderly person???????
Yes it's true YOU NEVER KNOW since nobody wears a sign declaring them as a terrorist but in my own personal opinion the should still look for other ppl a lot more.Yes I am talking about people that are from "those" countries (Middle east),that have dark,olive skin and speak arab........
I'm sorry for feeling this way but unfortunatley I am terrified when I see someone looking like that board a plane I'm on with my son.
I'm so sad that we even have to be worried when we get on a plane!!!!!!! My son is 5 now and I still wonder how in this world do I explain to him that ppl attacked America on 9/11 just bc they hate Americans while my son is one himself (his biological father is a USC)?????
And even at such a young age my son has already experineced the hatured of ppl for Americans,the flag and anything that has to do with the USA since were we live in Germany we have lots and lots of muslims and some of them (NOT ALL) just really don't like us for the fact that on 9/11 we put the flag outside ,we DO speak English and my man IS an American (when he was still here and at my house he even was an American Soldier,BIG NO NO here!)...........
How do you explain that to your child???
We will be flying to the USA in less then 4 weeks and I had to explain to him why we can not take a bottle of coke onto the plane,why we can't take his lotion on the plane.................Have you ever looked into the eyes of a 5 year old that just doesn't understand why there could possibly be ppl so evil to blow up planes with mothers and children on them ?????????? God it really is making me sad.
Still , we will fly to the USA to see my man and yes I will be scared,and I will be terrified if I see an Arab looking person on our flights (one of them we have 3) .........
This has become a very sad world!

And as far as what went on in WW 2 goes,sorry but not even my parents have been born when Hitler invated Poland on September 1st,1939.My parents sure as hell didn't have anything to do with what happened to the Jews and I have unfortunatley never met my Grandparents bc both my Grandfathers died in the 1940 ies,one was killed December 24th,1941 in Russia and the other has killed hisself in 1947.So hell they couldn't influence me either.
I think the way I think bc I live in an area where we have lots and lots of Turkish ppl that HATE Americans and everybody who stands up for America and it's Citizens.And guess what I don't care! What I do care about is ppl that teach their kids to beat my 5 year old up bc my soon to be husband was an American soldier (he got out by now) who dared to show up at my house wearing the BDU,and bc his father is an American and bc we put the Star Spanngled Banner outside on September 11th.

HELL YEAH;if they really are terrorists -YES I wish they would wear the sign saying they are about to board a plane for the sole purpose of blowing it up.Or put a freaking suitcase on a train (as happened here in Germany by a Lebanese guy on July 31st,06) just to blow it up.
