I just wanted to know if my fiance needs "intent to marry" from me to carry with him when he goes for his interview. Please Answer !!!!

he does not need it. He should just bring lots of proof of the ongoing relationship.

He does need it because your going through India he needs a recent one with preferrably a notary signature...
SHowing that you are still willing to marry... Make sure you get it to him very fast...
the India embassy keeps asking lots of people for it... I hope this will help you

On their website It doesn't say that they need to have the "Intent to Marry".

I would suggest you should send intent to marry letter from both of you. Its better to have it just in case.

I inquired with many diff. people plus my brother from chicago and my sister in law... he had filed a fiance petition for her.... and she said she din't have any hard copies... so what i did... i faxed it to him... Also, someone from florida told me she wasn't asked for one either. Now, i m just waiting for the embassy to write me back.. emailed them as well.

Okay im a little confused here, a change of subject i know but how much do we have to pay and for what? between consulate sending packet four and interview. Also if we have an intent to marry letter do we have to get it notirzed? Thanks

It doesn't have to be notarized. courier fee of 331 and demad draft for 4800. courier fee must be paid at one of the VFS office prior to the interview date as per new delhi consulate... don't know about mumbai... so mite wanna find out.
