Good morning all,
I am trying to find out some information for my Sister-in-law's boyfriend,
this is the case

;
In 2000 his grandparents filed fo rhis parents himself and his sister. Then he was 16, the case has been approved and sent to the KNG embassy however everyone else s getting through ok except for him. They are sayingthat becasue he is over 18 that he cannot get the visa.
Is there anything he can do?
Please can someone help me out.
thank you
Sounds like he aged out.
His parents will be able to file for him when they get their Green Cards.
Thanks Boiler. I was just wondering if there was anyway he could be grandfathered in or even filed a waiver or something. I guess he just have to file for hisself or wait until his parents get here.
Wishful thinking
Assuming he did age out, then it is a question of fact not opinion. Including whther he grandfathered in, I think he would need to be of the age when his parents visa Number came up.
Waivers are for grounds of inadmisability.
If he has a way of immigrating other than through family, work is the usual other option, then that is another route.
Just thinking, you said Sister in Law b/f, can she not sponsor him? Not clear where everybody is.
