Take a look and let me know what you think. Any feedback is welcome. I figure this is a neat way to find other people with similar timelines on the board so you can see how you are doing relatively to them. This will let you also find others in the same boat as you so you can make new friends!
You can find this link by following the "my timeline" link on eveyones profile or posts (to the left). You can also directly access this from the "My Assistant" tool on the member menu on most pages of this site.

Please let me know what you think of the tool and ways you think might improve it.

Is there a way to add a section for people who had to file a waiver?

Hey Capt,
Is is possible to add the inquiry link to the "Add/Edit My Timeline" through my assistant? That way, we can look at others' timelines after we've updated ours... Otherwise, you have to find one of your own posts just to check...

I have added the option to the My Assistant tab to find similar timelines. I am going to add a shortcut to the profile(s) as well.

Also now when you view the main timeline page and you are logged in you will see a new link to view similar timelines. You must be logged in to see this function

There are probably plenty of other people from the same country, just none that filed withing +/- 2 months of your (or had their last major event withing +/- 2 months of the same event for you).

Found another misspelling so I just thought I'd report it here.
The key for what the little graphics mean has 'timeline' misspelled as "timline".

I checked it out, it seemed as though it would be cool, but odd that I filed for K1 in 2004 and the records returned were filed in 2006... not very much alike unless it was going on my AOS filing NOA to their K1 NOA. But then again, that wouldnt make much sense.
Capt - is is just trying to match whatever the last major even you have to another?

It is trying to match whatever is relavent to your current timeline. If your are filing for AOS it matches people that are also filing for AOS in your same city. If you are filing for a visa than it matches country, visa type, service center, and then checks within +/2 2 months of your last milestone for your visa.
Do you think that for AOS it should check more. If I add back checks for the same country you may not be similar to near as many people for AOS... I figured at that point it is just nice to see who is filing for AOS in your same city at the same time. Maybe we need more parameters.
