Hi,

I found out from the NVC that my instruction packet with the DS-230 has been generated. I used James' shortcut to generate the cover page with the barcode and my wife has filled out the DS-230. So what I'm sending in is:
- Cover page with barcode
- DS-230 part 1
- Copy of bio page of my wife's passport

Am I missing something, like writing the case number on the photocopy or something? Has anyone done this recently? I'm scared that what NVC sends me is going to be different than what I send in. Like with the affidavit of support. I downloaded the old version and was going to send it in, but I waited until NVC sent it to me and it was the new version. But I can't wait to send in the DS-230 because I'm going to Germany next week. Do you think this will be okay? Thanks for the advice.

Did you check in the links on the DOS site which is also contained in the first post of the timesavers thread. If not I have pasted them below.

Click on the appropriate link for what is required. If the top link does not apply to the country of the applicant/beneficiary, then you are only required to submit part I along with a photocopy of the biographics page of the passport

Instructions for Immigrant Visa Applicants (applying in Albania, Canada, Lebanon, Philippines, Turkey, United Arab Emirates or on the continent of Africa)
When one is required to submit both parts 1 & II and all documents listed in the above link, the NVC reviews all documents and schedules the interview. Part 1 should only be signed not part II as that has to be signed at the interview stage in front of the conof.

Instructions for Immigrant Visa Applicants (NOT applying in Albania, Canada, Lebanon, Philippines, Turkey, United Arab Emirates or on the continent of Africa)
When one is only required to submit DS-230 part 1 and a copy of the biographics page of the passport, the consulate will schedule the interview.
