I am sure lots of you guys out there had the same problem, question as me. I got married and wanna change my last name now, so it means I need to get a new passport ( I am from Germany and AOS is pending), so I asked the German embassy here in the USA, they can issue a new passport only if I don't have any residency in Germany anymore, but the thing is I am going to keep Germany as my second residency. i am sure other of you wanted to do the same, but how did u get the new passport, did u travel a back to Germany to get this done or how? Thanks for your help .
