Does anyone have any pointers as to what types of generic questions or information that will be asked of the finace?

But also, I'd recommend gong to the "Embassy/USCIS Reviews" link up top, finding your embassy, and reading through all the reviews. A lot of times post the questions they were asked there. Also, if you go to the regional forum for your country (http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showforum=100) you can search for posts about the specific country. Also, you can go to the forum for the Foreign Embassy (http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showforum=6) and search for interview questions.

Thanks! Sadly, not many people have come through Madagascar, I am the only one I know of. And the embassy website has nothing and they rarely respond to emails. And I pay taxes...

Wow! You are right, I just tried to do some searching for Madagascar on the VJ site and almost nothing comes up! Well, I'd still recommend going to first link I sent you too. And also, I'd say look at the Embassy reviews for one of the more popular embassies (such as the London embassy or one of the Canadian embassies) and they should give you at least a general idea of some questions.

Also, I recommend starting a topic in the Africa regional forum: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showforum=89 asking for anyone who's gone through the interview in Madagascar. Or even for interview questions from other countries in that region.
