Fortunately, in less than two weeks from the day NVC received our application, the Embassy in Kiev has now scheduled our interview for August 21 (Monday) 09:00.

Liaza can not get train tickets and get her medical completed before Monday morning (it is Wednesday night/Kiev time).

Also, as I was planning to be with her in Kiev for the interview - airfare would be over twice as expensive if I tried to book a flight on such short notice.

So, unfortunately, I must try to reschedule our interview. Is this possible without jeopardizing our chances for approval?

(Before anyone asks, I have updated my timeline - there is a problem with the system. The info is in my signature).

If im the one in the situation, i won't sacrifice my interview schedule, rescheduling it might end up waiting for long. since they already scheduled many interviews not only urs but to others behind urs. I'll go alone in the interview if im your fiance or choose to get the expensive flight available as soon as u get in kiev before interview date.

hope it helps.

I would guess it's possible to reschedule - it is in Brazil. However, I'm afraid the only way to be sure is to contact the consulate/embassy and ask them.
