My fiancee is flying out of Vietnam on Thursday,I bought a one way ticket thinking that is all I needed.
I heard after the fact that she needs a round trip ticket to enter the U.S. = in case we don't get married.
What a pile of crap,I spent a 2 years on this and now I might need another f#$@ing plane ticket.

Anyone come thru San Francisco , is a round trip ticket needed for Hong to enter ?

Can I buy another 1 way for her to show customs, that she has a way back if we don't marry??

If I buy another 1 way I can buy it 2 -1/2 months out and save some cash if it is non-refundable.
If I can get a refundable ticket I can just cancel it after she gets here, and only have to waste $50.00.

ANY IDEAS ??
Anyone know who I need to call to verify this ? and a phone number.

THANKS IN ADVANCE

If your fiance is entering the U.S. and activating her K-1 Visa, then intends to marry within 90 days and apply for AOS, she does not need a round trip ticket.

A lot of people just buy a round-trip ticket, rather than a one-way ticket, because it can be cheaper to do it that way.

Your one-way ticket will be just fine.

Best wishes.

Hi markv,

If you don't mind sharing, I'm just curious what kind of price you got for a one-way from VN to SFO?

We plan to do a one-way as well.
