Where do we apply ? What is the Procedure ? What is the cost ?

My daughter is 6 and I would like my USC husband to be able to have signing rights for school, medical and anyother documents.

He plans to adopt but for right now this would surfice !

You need to talk with a probate attorney in your area to find out what the procedure is...

But typically you have to petition the probate court to name a guardian.
