as the title clearly states, I am looking forward for AOS filling next week. Did anyone used the new forms available on uscis web site?

NVC sent us the old ones - not sure if they will be still valid through the visa interview.

I used the new form AOS, despite having already received the old one in the mail. I found it easier to understand and read somewhere on the USCIS website that using them was OK. Can't remember now were I read it so you'll have to do your own research. Because they were easier to fill out and understand I felt more confident in the information I needed to supply, if that makes any sense. I found out today when talking to an NVC Cust. Service rep. about another matter, that the AOS forms have passed their initial review at NVC, so I am still feeling confident that they're ok. Still a long way to go until Interview though. I doubt this helps in any conclusive way. smile.gif

Good luck!

I wanted to use the EZ form but opted for the newer version instead. When we recieved our I-864 packet from NVC it did have the old version forms included but I removed them and replaced them with the newer ones. Still haven't gotten any positive or negative response about them but I think with so much time passing since I sent them in we might be A-okay? Good Luck in whatever you decide.

NVC is still sending out the old I-864 and if you use this, then I am sure, it will be fine for the interview no matter when they schedule your interview.

Thanks for the responses. I am getting a feeling that if I use the old ones I should be fine. Just don't want to have any trouble during interview... am conservative and will use the old forms - thanks again

Are you a conservative software? It is good to be conservative and cautious.

Please read the following link from the DOS, especially almost at the bottom of the page on the section of "expiration of I-864." It clearly says that the I-864's deadline is indefinite.
