Hello, my wife is just about to go in for her interview in guayaquil, ecuador. I have already received the transcripts from the IRS when I called the 800 number and went through the automated system, and I didn't speak to a real person. I just want to be overly prepared for the interview, and would like to know if anybody could tell me if these will be acceptable, and if they're the same transcripts that you request on the IRS form 4506-T? Thanks a lot. Pray for us everybody!

I guess transcripts of your tax returns would suffice and it's an advice that I've seen posted many times on VJ. However, why not contact the consulate and ask them to make sure?
Good luck!

Is it for a K-3 or a CR-1? If K-3, why are you using the I-864? Was it requested to have such?

Hello,
I was advised (not by the USCIS) to supply both the tax transcripts as you have done AND a copy of the original tax forms that were signed and sent in. I am dealing with Manila, Philippines. I just scanned the latter from my records at home and emailed them off. I thought just the transcripts would be enough, but I guess this was a safer approach. Godspeed.
