Since my K-3 approved on last friday, now I have few questions to be answered.
1- How long it takes for the USCIS to forward the case to NVC ?
2- How long it takes for NVC to forward the case to the Embassy ?
3- What kinda mails/correspondance should i expect from NVC? Will I get any forms/paperwork from NVC ?
4- Should I download the I-134 (AOS)from the website and fill it or this comes from the USCIS/NVC with bar code?
5- I plan to change the address but despite some assurances from the fellow VJ'rs I am not sure when to do that. Should I wait till my case reaches NVC or should I wait till my case reaches Embassy?
6- Does any one knows how long is the waiting time in Islamabad/Pakistan US EMBASSY.?
7- Can the VJ'rs talk through instant messageing too ?

a day or few for processing, then however long it takes the mail to get there

look for info specific to the Islamabad consulate

are you the USC or the beneficiary? If you're the beneficiary, you'd need to advise the embassy that you have moved so they can send you the forms to the correct address. If you are the USC, wait til your spouse arrives in the US, then send address change.

6- Does any one knows how long is the waiting time in Islamabad/Pakistan US EMBASSY.?

Question ? Is the case sent to NVC the same day when it is approved or the USCIS still work on it for few days before they forward it to NVC?

Question ? I beleive that these days the correspondance between NVC and Embassies is ELECTRONIC ? They dont send through snail mail? Any idea ?

There is no information whatsoever on the US embassy website in Pakistan.

I am USC !!

Our K3 was approved on 7/27 and the NVC rec'd it on 8/10. Their letter stated that it would be sent to the embassy in Casablanca within one week.
