I'm a USC living in the UK with my wife. We've filed both the I-130 and I-129F using her sister's address in the US as our US address. I might be going back before her now and getting another address in the US. Do we need to change address with the USCIS if I do this (we could still receive mail at her sister's), or would we just put in the new US address on future forms? Would it create some kind of discrepency if we had one address on the petitions and another address on the forms later on? If we need to notify them once I'm at the new address, what's the correct way to go about doing this?

Thanks,
Mike

if you move back to the US before your petitions have been approved and before your wife has either of the visas, you should notify USCIS of your address change.

You can do that with form I-865 and send it to the service centre where your petitions are.

If you don't move there til after your wife has a visa, and you come together, it depends on which visa she gets as to what you would do. If she gets the K3, then both the AR-11 and the I-865 need to be done. If she gets the CR1, then I don't think you'll need either, because your address will be updated at the consulate at the interview. Ask them to be sure tho.
