Did you called consulate? I have my approval at the same day you had and I called Rio on Friday and they said that they got my pettition there on friday and they already send my packet 3. Now I'm afraid, because I want to sent my packet 3 before I get it...

No, I did not. I did not find out until almost 9 PM ( Rio time). I'll try today. It would not surprise me if packet 3 has been mailed as this is now going very quickly.

I called this morning and was told they were working on mine. Also, got the can response of 2-4 weeks for processing....whatever.

Congratulations to you! I did not get through on the phone so I sent an e-mail. Got 2 responses (1 was an auto reply). The other stated that they had not received it yet. Maybe it has not been distributed/processed yet?

I have been checking the DHL site. Nothing was sent to Brasil until 08/14/2006. If their site is correct, everything is in the Nehterlands. That makes sense. I hesitant to contact the consul until Monday as I read that hey will not hesitate to tell you not to contact them so much. Is this true?

E-mailed the Rio consulate today. They responded.... pettition arrived 18 Aug 2006.
