Some basics that Ive been wondering about...

My flight is booked for September. Whooooohoooooo! Its been along time coming.... smile.gif

Do I fill out the green 194 form they hand you on the plane?

Which queue do I stand in?

Do I retain any of the info I hand over to the officer ie brown envelope/xray etc or does he keep all of it?

Many thanks,

Yes you will need to fill out an I94 form on the plane.

You will need to come through the visitors line I think, as you do not have a US passport.

He will keep the paperwork you hand over.

Good luck on your journey

Congrats, Daisy!
Here's a thread on the topic just for you!

Arriving in America, The POE Drill

PS: No I-94 or I-94W for you---tell the flight attendant that you are immigrating. You *will* need a Customs Declaration form (see thread).

Which queue to use is debated (ie prolly doesn't matter), suggestions in the thread.

You will keep your Xray and there are a couple of other things to be heads-up about.

Happy travels!
