Hello all,
I am still unclear about the K3 process at NVC. Would they require any documents from me at all or is it just a pit stop to get a case number assigned?
Any K3 applicants out there please throw out some rough timings.

NVC is just a clearence house for K-1 and K-3.......as soon as a case number is assigned it will be on the way to the embassy/consulate....

Mine took 1 (one) day -- at least that's what the operator told me. It's a quickie...

Most cases make it through quickly, as stated previously.
There are times when a clearance must return before the case is transferred on; The infamous NVC Delay.

Mine was at NVC over the weekend and out the door to the embassy on Monday, very quick!!! But I have read that there are some middle east countries which require more work at NVC.
