Actually, there was an unforeseen change of plans, since the travel agent gave Hachemi's seat away for the 12th. The next available flight was on the 24th of August and he will arrive in the usa on the 25th.

Alhamdulilah - my fiance got here with no problems, very easy POE - asked some very basic questions like where are you going to live, what are you going to do, where does your fiance live and that was about it... I waited outside of customs for almost an hour though b/c they lost his luggage!! Got it three days later thankfully...

Congrats to all the other approvals!!! Man, you leave VJ for a week and all sorts of great things happen!! Wishing happy reunions to all - both the upcoming ones, and the ones waiting.

I just got a call from Khallid. He is in Chicago. He said he was in immigration for 3 hours!!!!! He said they asked more questions than they did at the interview!

The important thing is, he's in. thats it. Enjoy your reunion!
