Hello everyone smile.gif

I have a question about filling out AOS form (I-864). I'm sponsoring my Mother but I've been unemployed for almost 3 years now and using my husband as a co-sponsor. His income is higher than poverty line requirement. But I was wondering if I should still list assets in I-864 so they see that I own something. Also, how do I include real estate as an asset? My husband and I own a house but it's not paid off yet. We had the house appraised 1 year ago, would the appraisal still be valid? How can we calculate the house' cash value?

Thanks to everyone who will reply smile.gif

Only need ed if you are short on income.

Appraisal value less loans = capital.

Natalia,

"co-sponsor" is an ambiguous term when used in conjunction with the affidavit of support, which has it's own clearly defined terms.

Sounds to me as though you should be using your husband as a Household Member, assuming that you do live in the same residence.
