does anybody know how to handle the translation of documents issue? do i have to give my documents (birth certificate, vaccination passport etc) do a certified translator or can i do it myself if i can proof that my knowledge of English is sufficient? (for example by attaching my last TOEFL score).

Please submit certified translations for all foreign language documents. The translator must certify that s/he is competent to translate and that the translation is accurate.
The certification format should include the certifier's name, signature, address, and date of certification. A suggested format is:
