Is there a way to check your NVC status after you receive NOA2? Can you do it online, or do you have to call in?
Have to call in and get your new case number.
You give them your NOA number and if they have already assigned you a new case number, you'll get it.

You can not check your case online about yoru NVC process. You need to call the NVC and inquire about it. NVC automated system is open for 24-hour a day, 7-day a week. You will need your NVC case number or USCIS receipt to inquire it on the automated system. The best option is to call NVC and speak with an operator live, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to midnight eastern time. Again, you will need your NVC case number or USCIS receipt number handy. The phone number is: 603-334-0700, option 1 for English, then option 5 to speak with an operator live. Sometimes, the lines are busy, but you have to keep trying and eventually you will be able to speak with an operator.
