We first met in person under the watchful gaze of Buddha Amitabha, Chenrezig and Guru Rinpoche at the base of Swayambhunath stupa - can't get more auspicious than that, eh? We had agreed to meet at 11:00 for lunch and he, dad and my friend didn't show until after 1:00 - there was a traffic jam caused by political demonstrations - just another day in KTM...

We met in an Irish bar in Chicago. It was my own fault! I was working for a UK software company at the time and we were hosting a User Conference. A few of our guests decided a late night drink was in order. I bought the first round and there was one pint of Harp left on the bar......

Of course just like other fairytale in the net he visit my country to met in person and show me he is really serious about me ....

We met when he came to my office for some additional technical training. He is a Technical Service Manager for his company and they are are a major distributor in the UK for the sound equipment that we manufacture here in the USA. I got to meet him because I am a Sales Adminstrator for our company and we had formal email conversations regarding sales, etc. Until we met anyway. We shook hands funny - we were in love at first sight. He was at my company for a week and the day he left, something made me turn around and outside of my office he was walking away from me and turned to look at me at the same time I looked at him. Very weird and we left it at that. That was on a Friday. On Monday, I received an email telling me of his trip back home and we haven't missed an email a day since. We're hooked on each other and cannot wait to finally be together for good!

One of the first comments - because I didn't know if he was even married or not and I had all but given up on men - was that he was my Knight in Shining Armour. His comment was that the armour was rusty and the horse was dead. Who knew that we would have come this far so quickly!

We first met in the US on Valentines Day 2002 .

I flew to San Francisco as Ken was working there. My sons thought I had gone totally crazy as they were sure he was an axe murderer or something sinister!!

In the 2 years that followed, I came to the US 7 times for a total of 10 glorious months and Ken came to see me in the UK twice during the K1 processing time.

Mun and I met for the first time when we kids. He was 9 and I was 13. My family went back to Guyana for a family reunion that summer. Since then, we've seen each other two times - each time I had gone back to Guyana for a specific reason and this May I went back a third time and he finally told me how he felt about me - after all these years!!!!

Claudeth rode all the way to Iligan from CDO on a bus even though she got terrible motion sickness just to see me on my birthday. What a gal

Nick and I met in person in Canada..he flew up to see me for an amazing 4 day weekend. I loved every minute of it. We met online

The first time we met in person was in NAIA airport in Manila Philippines. I was so nervous waiting for him in the arrival waiting area. When I saw him and he looks at me I feel like the time stops and feel like everything slows down like in the movie when you want to embrace him but its very slow although you were both running Funny but true... thats how I felt that time.
Everytime my friends asked me how's the feeling when I first saw Paul this was my answer and everybody will laugh

Gretchen and i met physically outside the Davao International Airport terminal. I flew there to visit her. I saw her about 20 feet away from me, walking shyly towards me so i could find her in the crowd. She was so beautiful, more so than i ever seen any woman. When i looked at her i knew i had really found the love of my life and it wasnt a dream. we were inseparable for the two weeks i was there and cant wait to continue our lives in person after her visa is in hand.

We met at a bar called Bimbo's in Melbourne on July 30th, 2005 (three days after I had arrived in Melbourne) and got married on the same date, exactly two years later.

It was a very drunk night and we had souvlaki on the way home. LOL

Raleigh/Durham Airport

We met on Royal street in the French Quarter. We started chatting, had a few drinks together and he gave me his phone number.

A few days later, Hurricane Katrina came and I evacuated shortly after to Baton Rouge and was able to get a flight back to Alberta.

I got in touch with him again in October when people started returning to their homes. We started talking almost everyday- and he flew me out in January for his Graduation at UNO. Mel had received his MBA in December and wasn't working yet so we spent 6 months 24/7 together before we got married.

Met in Thailand while doing a job........She quit her job at Samsung and moved to the Philippines with me. Now I'm back in the states waiting...................

I went to Scotland and we met there. I love that place.

After a 9 hour flight and a 5 hr bus ride, we met here under this tree at the bus stop in Hull, UK

Chris and I met in a little pub in Hagerstown, Maryland called the corner pub! I was on a girly night out with my step mum and all of her friends and I got chatting to him at the bar... We ended up dragging him to a gay bar! He got my phone number at the end of the night, called me the next morning and that was it! I ended up staying in America for 3 months

It was really quite odd though... He had been living in Texas for the summer with his sister and had only arrived back in Maryland the day that my flight landed.... (2 days before we met!)

Well I already said that we met in Brazil. To be exact, we met at a party.
My neighbor and a couple of her friends took me out to the party, and he was there. I was instantly attracted to him!
We danced all night and at the end of the night we exchanged phone numbers. I never thought he'd call. But he did, MANY times the next day - we met a couple nights after the initial meeting and the rest is history.
We've been together for 3 years and 4 days.
