My fiance had no job and wasn't in school and it didn't matter.

I had my brother co sponsor us. There is nothing wrong with having a co sponsor if you need one.

I am not so sure how it works in Casa as it seems to be a difficult embassy but if you have a sponsor that makes enough money to meet the government guidelines for how many people in the family plus your SO, then I would imagine that would be fine. But somehow also I would add, they would ask you or your SO how you were going to support your SO after arriving to the USA? cos if your SO is coming on k1 visa they will not be able to work until further applications are filed and approved... but with the k3 it is possible.

I am a little confused. Are you the applicant or the petitioner? If you are the petitioner then for sure you will need a co sponsor.

Don't have much else for you, I didn't need a co sponsor so I have no experience here.
