Hey, Iīm really confused, how could be possible to get approved the I-129F and a couple of weeks after that they send you another message, why did they say it was approved? if they are keep working on that blink.gif I donīt understand this people. Could anybody explain me?? How is this going to affect the waiting time?

This is the message:

On August 2, 2006, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. Follow the the link below for current processing dates.

Thank you
raymaga
I am gathering that you must have received an RFE for the IMBRA information. After they receive the IMBRA information back from you, then they can resume working on your case. You are not approved until you get an approval notice from them, and that is only after they have reviewed your response to their RFE.

Did you get something that said "I-797 Approval Notice" on it?

Greg&Miriam
Oh yeah raymaga, thatīs why Iīm so confused and upset, because one week before we got this notice on line:

: I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

This case has been approved. On July 24, 2006, an approval notice was mailed. If 30 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please speak to an Immigration Information Officer during business hours.

And my husband got the I-797 Approval Notice on the mail wacko.gif
