Mrs. Forgetful
HI everyone! This is my first time posting in the area of VJ. Didn't really know this forum was here.
I am Janine and I am a USC in Philadelphia. My husband is Adil and from Tanger, Morocco. I met Adil about 3 years ago while I was on winter holiday from college. We decided to get married in January 2006 and set the date for June 17th. We went through a little hard time because his father passed away in April. He had no way of getting home because his passport was somewhere between Morroco and the Moroccan Consolate in NY. I thought he might leave me and return to Morocco for good. But he didn't and we made it through. His mother came to the US the week before our wedding! It was wonderful to finally meet the voice I had come to love! She stayed with us for a whole month. I tell you, I have never felt so spoiled and loved in my whole life. Tons of kisses, cooking almost every meal, cleaning our apartment when I had to work, re-organizing everything(which I still can't find half of my stuff!), but the best part was that when I was tired, stressed, or upset she knew exactly what to do to make me feel better. I miss her a lot! Well anyway, since she left we have been working on changing my husbands status from F-1 status. We've come into a few problems but we are almost ready to send everything in. So hopefully we did everything correct and it all goes smoothly!

So that's my story and I'm sticking to it! If there are any helpful tips for all of this I would love to hear them. Life with a Moroccan man should be exciting! I'm looking forward to it!
