Well I'm leary about them because they ask you set up an paypal account and won't let you sign into the already established one.

I have a prepaid credit card that I use for online shopping maybe I will try it and see what happens. I will let you know. wink.gif

We religiously order our movies from www.nigeriamovies.net
only $7.99 and the quality is excellent! good.gif (Very reliable)

Most DVD players sold here in the U.S. are not formatted to play Nigerian VCD's. However, Panasonic makes a cheap model (under $40) that plays all Naija VCD's. All the Nigerian films play on this model, however we are unable to watch some on our Sony.
This company is cool, because when the movies didn't play, I called them and explained the problem. They told me to send it back, and they would exchange it. However, the new copy still wouldn't play. This is when I discovered that there wasn't anything wrong with the movie, but instead the formatting.
Anyway, if you are looking for a good movie, I would recommend Blood Sister 1 & 2! yes.gif Genevieve Nnaji is my girl, and she really plays her role this time!!!

blood sisters is awesome!

my trio of favorite naija actresses are genevieve nnaji, omotola, and chioma chukwa. anything with them, i'll watch! i'm pretty lucky because we always borrow our movies from a friend...so haven't had to spend any money to do it. he's a businessman, lol. he's in afica now...can't wait until he gets back with new movies for us to watch!

another movie i liked was soul provider with omotola and many more movies...i can't remember all the titles....

our phillips dvd player plays the dvds without any problems...nigerian ones, american ones, and european ones my husband brought with. the dvd player was a gift, so i don't know how much it was, but i'm sure it wasn't on the expensive end of the scale...

i think i spelled chioma's last name wrong..maybe its chukwuka...lol...i don't remember...but i love her!

I am glad you posted a site that is reliable. I have been scared to order online in fear of a 419. But since there site is through Yahoo, it should be fairly safe. I love Nigerian movies so much, that American movies really are starting to bore me. I am so hooked, I wish we could get the soap opera "Super Story"... now its really off the chain.

I had to bring this up again to let all know of a wonderful site that you can watch nigerian movies online. PM me for the link.

I also think the best website to order the movies is www.nigeriamovies.net.
That is where we get all our movies from besides the ones that are sent by my sister-n-law in Naija.
My favorite naija actresses are patience, omotola, & genevieve. i also have a friend here that loves nigerian movies. so we both order different ones and then we swap and record them. yeah, i know it's illegal, but we do it anyway. That way we have a very large collection!!!
