Hicham just called me from JFK. He had no problems with POE and he is waiting for his next flight home!

He sounded so excited on the phone I can't wait to go get him!!

Hey Everyone,

I just talked to Sarah, the 2 love birds are doing well but are tired. Hicham has been enjoying his first day in the USA . He got through the airport wihtout a single question, it was a breeze. He also got his EAD stamp. He is already in love with breakfast burritos, lol and has already applied for his social security card. They even went spice shopping!

They are resting now, but she just wanted me to let eveyone know she is doing well and will be posting later.

Hey guys!

Well as Noura put it I have come up for air so I just wanted to let you know that Hicham got here with no problems. They didn't ask him aything at JFK and he got his EAD. I picked him up at midnight and then had to drive 4 hours to get home and boy were we tired!

Everything is going great it's fun just showing him around and seeing how he likes everything. Everytime we go on the freeway and we pass a semi truck he says how pretty it is haha.

We're at my parents house for the weekend and it was really nice to have them meet eachother even though no one can really talk so I translated. Hicham is eager to learn English and really wants to so he can talk to someone other than me haha.

He misses his family since he has never been away from them really and also has never been this far away but he talks to them each day which is really nice for everyone.

Ok I just wanted to say hi and see how everyone is doing and I'll be back later!

Hicham says hello too.

Did he ask for the EAD or did they just give it to him?

If coming thru JFK, you usually (but not always) just get a temp. EAD valid until the 90 day K-1 period is up. It is the only airport that does this (as far as I have heard).
