Hi there,
Now that our K3 is approved, I'm preparing the I-134 Affidavit of Support. What do I put in question 10?

It asks: "I have submitted visa petition(s) to the Bureau of Citizenship & Immigration Services (CIS) on behalf of the following person(s). If none, state none."

Do I have to list my husband here because we filed for CR-1/I-130 in addition to the K3?

And one more question...what are you all putting for question #11? "I intend to make specific contributions to the support of the person(s) named in item 3. (If room and board, state for how long, etc.)"

So...how long do you put..."indefinitely?" OR "Until such time as my husband is granted working rights and can contribute to monthly expenses?"

Part of me wants to acknowledge that he will eventually be working and contribute to our household and the economy...surely that looks good. Yet it I wonder if they look unfavorably on someone who says they will only support their spouse until a certain time (until they contribute). Know what I mean?

I will support my husband for the rest of my life if I have to, but I'm not sure what to put on this form!!

Overthinking again, I'm sure.... blush.gif

metinspain,

It's a simple question, answer it as asked - if you have submitted any visa petitions name the person or persons for whom you have submitted them.

I wrote 'yes, will cover all costs for food, clothing, lodging, and other expenses as necessary'. Many other people write 'not applicable - K visa' (there's a historical reason for this). Any answer but 'hell no' will be fine.

Yes indeed!
