I just saved a bunch of money by swtiching my car insurance to Geico.

J/K lol but seriously,
I signed up for Vonage service and sent the phone to my honey. He connected it via his DSL and bam!!! He now has a USA number, same area code as me.

It's only 25 bucks a month and its unlimited calls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is seriously gonna save us more than $500 a month combined.

We only have to make one minor adjustment which is to increase his speed which didnt cost much at all.

Plus it will be useful for calling the family once he gets here.
Sorry for my ignorance but Princess... do you have 2 different accounts (numbers) or just one?
No its just one account, and he is using it. He can call any number now because he has a USA number that can call anywhere in the USA which include cell phones. I can call him from home or work or my cell phone. I have free long distance on my cell phone too and since its a local area code for where I live, there is no charge for me to call him from home or work.
However you can get another phoneline for yourself. Its only 25 bucks a month which is alot cheaper than most phone companies. It comes with all the bells and whistles too. In addition to that, you get free long distance calls to Canada, USA, Puerto Rico, and parts of Europe, unlimited, anyday, any time all included in the price.

vonage...hmm.. cool.. I didnt know you could send it overseas.
Well his Aunt was in town so I sent it with her.

Well I think "technically" it shouldnt stay there permanently, but they have several products that are marketed to use internationally for "travelors".
