My husband is now a student in the USA and a US citizen, I am a french citizen and living and working in France while waiting for the green card to do its thing. However this time apart is no fun and we would like to put an end to it as soon as possible. However, since my husband is getting a masters he cant work and that is why i originally stayed here in Paris to earn money. Is there anyway that i can get a Visa in a short time that will allow me to live and work in the US so that we can be together.
If you have any insight it would be very appreciated!!! Thank you

Have you filed any petitions with USCIS? It would be helpful to know where you are in the immigration process.

Did you file Cr1-IR1? If you filed the I-130 (CR1-IR1) then it will take a few weeks to recieve an I-797 which is a NOA-1 otherwise known as Notice of Action. Once you recive that you can file the K-3 visa, this visa once apporved allows your spouse entry into the US to wait out the first petiton. It can be a long and tedious journey and you will need alot of paitence. Take a look at the guides and FAQs at the top of the page, you can get loads of help and answers. Good luck

sometimes it takes more than a few weeks, look at some of the timelines for your particular service center and petition.

Learn patience...you are going to need it. You should understand that this will not be settled in the short time you would like. If there were shortcuts to some "magic" visa that would get you here immediately, everyone would be rushing to get one.
