Hey gang, awesome news!

Our I-130 petition was approved August 31st!!! I received an Email from USCIS

The K-3 will most likey not be approved for another 3 months.

What should I do now?

Just wait... You have already paid fees for both so stick it out and you will have a better idea of what to do.

Congratulations!! Great News. First, celebrate the approval. I think for now, you should stick with the K-3 for now, since it can be approved soon. The NVC process will take about two and a half months for your approved I-130. But, the I-129F stays only for 1-2 weeks at the NVC after the approval. I decided to cancel my K-3 because my I-130 process is going very well and my K-3 will be cancelled out by the CR-1 eventually.

Congratulations, Rob! I can't believe you only met in April and already have an approval for I-130. I'm with Libersolis. Since you already paid for I-129f, you have nothing to lose by leaving it in play. Whichever gets an interview quicker ...

I agree. We got our approval yesterday for I-130, and we're just going to see which one gets my husband here faster. Since you paid for both, I'd wait and see!

I'm so embarassed, it wasn't approved in 93 days, it was 62 days...thats even better, Awesome

Congrats to you an yours.. nice to see good news flowing again.

Although I'm happy for you, it's a bit disconcerting... I'm also from AZ and sending to the CA service center, I filed the I-130 more than a month ahead of you, and it has yet to be touched since being received. Oh well, I'll take your quick success as a positive sign. :-)

Congrats!!!! Time to celebrate! It will take a week or two for your petition to get to NVC, check the threads on that forum, you can get alot of advice there as well as tips and shortcuts for the process. You can always wait out the K-3 and see if it moves along any faster and cancell at the end if it doesnt. Good luck and a speedy Journey!

Yeah, I was like August 31st? Anyways Hey, celebrate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we got almost same timeline for both I-130 and K3. I will wait on K3 approval until DS-230 gets generated.
