Congratulations Noura!!!
The petition will go to NVC, where it should spend only a week or so. From there it is sent to Casablanca. Casablanca will then mail package 3 to Said.
We were at this stage close to a year ago and the timeframes always change, but I think it was about 5 weeks from NOA2 until Rafie received package 3 with his interview date.

Start getting your "proof" for his interview together and the things you will need for the affidavit of support. I would probably draw up the I-134 but wait on signing and notarizing until it is closer. I am self-employed like you, and since my income exceeds the poverty level, I did not include bank balances or any other assets.
At this point he may also want to think about having any college transcripts translated, certificates of employment and anything else that may come in handy later on.

Congratulations!
Now is the time to be sure to get the police report, if you don't have it already. Also, in Algeria I know they needed the "Certificate of non-marriage" proving the fiance is single. I agree with getting everything (birth certificates, passport, driver's license, etc) translated. On your end, get all of your tax records together, photographs, phone logs, etc.
It'll be here before you know it!

Noura,
You also need to think how are you going to send all the paperwork to Said. I opted for regular mail (mainly because I was broke at the time from all the phone calls). If you go that method, remember you have to factor in a month in transit time. I actually sent two identical packages to Hicham (in case one got lost). The copies got there a week before the originals (sent out at exactly the same time)!

So, I'm trying to tie up loose ends on my taxes and get my paperwork in order - I'll find out on Monday when I meet w/ my accountant whether or not I *really* meet the poverty guidelines (we crunch the numbers to my best tax benefit) - Here's hoping it all comes together quickly!
Too much going on this week..... tips anyone? tips on preparations?
