Hello,

I am just wondering when my wife leaves the Philippines a week from friday and return to the USA with her son, will she have to pay travel taxes and if so, how much? will her son also have to pay it?

What is the terminal fee in the Philippines to be paid?

Just wondering smile.gif

Thanks

When I picked up our ticket in the office, they let me pay for our son's tax of 1,060 Php but when I got to the airport they told me I shoudn't pay tax for the child as it's just applied for adult. anyway, I pay mine the same Php1,060 plus 500 Pesos for terminal fee. I am not sure if it's still the same price now. Good luck!

Travel tax is PhP1,620 for adult and reduced travel tax for children below 12 is PhP810. Kids 2 years and below are exempted from travel tax. If travel tax is already included in the price of your wife's ticket, she should not pay this at the airport. She will only pay the terminal fee of P550 per head. Not sure if kids below 2 yrs. old are also required to pay the terminal fee.

Anyway for more info on travel tax, here's the link http://www.philtourism.com/ttax.html
