It's been AGES since I actually STARTED a topic. I'm not sure if I've got this in the correct forum, but here goes!
Billy got his green card in January. Is it possible for us to petition the court for him to have legal guardianship (not custody) of my two children? I know HOW to do all of this, but I think from somewhere in the foggy recesses of my mind, guidelines for this state "permanent resident" and not "conditional permanent resident." We want to do this so that he can give medical consent, sign forms for school, etc if necessary.

Suddenly, I remember why I hardly ever started a topic...nobody ever answered.

Itsmeitsmeitsree!,
This question might better be asked of an attorney who practices family law in your state.
