Full Version: Help! USC Mom petitioning married son's family

I'm a US citizen Mom and plan to petition my son (older than 21) and his wife (both living overseas now) for immigration. USCIS does give some information on how to petition my son, but gives very very little on his family. Instruction on I-130 doesn't provide more help either.

A few questions. Will appreciate any help. rose.gif
1) It seems only 1 single I-130 is needed for petitioning the whole family of my son. Means only one application fee needed?
2) What forms other than I-130 are needed? G-325A? I know I-864 will be needed later for NVC.
3) The evidence of my son's marriage needs to be submitted? When?
4) Son's wife has divorced before. Need to submit her divorce document? When?

renxiaoyao,

I agree with your assessment of the information and instructions available from USCIS. If I were you I would have a consultation with an immigration attorney who specializes in family-based immigration. A consultation shouldn't cost more that the cost of the petition fee and should be very helpful to your understanding of what you want to do.
