Darcy contacted the doctor in Calgary. They were willing to schedule his medical without having his case #. We think we will have the NOA2 before that point in time. They said they would just hold onto his paperwork until he received the case number. He is scheduled for September 5th. He asked them because on the 8th he is then traveling down here to go on a family vacation to Disney World.

I hope we have our NOA2 by then and it is processed through NVC.

They needed my Ref # when I went for the medical- don't you get that at the packet 3? They requested it on the phone when I booked the appt date.

I don't think they have packet 3 yet as their I-129F has not been approved yet.

This is true we are not yet approved but should be coming soon. We are trying to save a step because he isn't exactly close to any of the doctors that are on the list. He will already be in Calgary awaiting a flight to come to the states. He phoned and asked if it was possible to get his medical before getting the case # and they scheduled him. Time will tell!

Some consulates will do that in advance... others make you wait. Great that you can get it done ahead of time!!! Esp if you need to file a waiver for something as a result (fingers crossed that that won't happen)...
