wow..it would be very expensive to ship by container. My mom shipped 20 foot container to other country and payed like $3500. Maybe you would just like to ship those via boat and would usually reach US after 4 weeks. That's what i did on my stuff.

My friend anya-d told me
well.. the shipping company name is Friendship Cargo Tel: 01-373 0314 and 02-900 5042 email: friendship_cargo@hotmail.com the owner name is Somchok or Sam - he speaks fine englsih and he handle everything himself. we got a very good rate from him (normally about $300 per sqm.) and his office are in Jatujak (quite difficult to find) and also in MBK mall.. 6th floor room 44. he did very good job with our stuff and all of our plates and glasses are all intact. took about 33 days to arrive to wilmington port.. and u can choose the port closest to u... It's not a door to door service. also they will clear thai custom for u but if there's anything unusual like motocycle that we have then u'll need to get some papers yourself. Talk to Sam, i think u'll be satisfy ^^ (we shop around so much and found that he's the cheapest and can negotiate coz he's the owner ^^ )

if u have any question, please ask.. i'd be happy to help

it would be cheaper to buy new stuff here IMO. better to save that stuff there for when you retire and go live in Thailand! smile.gif
