If I understand correctly, our I130 and/or our I129F will be handled by the Montreal, Quebec consulate, and not in Ontario (Ottawa for us)?

So the NVC and NBC will be forwarding our stuff to Montreal and not Ottawa? And we'll have our inteview in Montreal? And follow Montreal rules as far as documents, medical exams, police records, etc?

Thanks!

As far as I know... yes, you will go to Montreal for the interview if you live in eastern Canada.

Correct. Montreal is the only consulate in Canada that handles already married couples. Vancouver & Montreal handle fiance visas. Other consular offices across the country are there primarily to assist Americans in Canada.

No worries though -- Montreal is quite good to deal with.

To What i have come across, Montreal is tooo tooooo busy.. cuz its taking care of all the IR-1/CR-1 visas of all of the people in Canada. Also the K-1 and K-3 of the people living in very large area plus the regular visas. I also heard that its a hard consulate to deal with. I would have to go through the same thing, I hope that it turns out to be good.
