It hapened to me too. I think they are doing this with every body cause I saw other cases that were transferred too, but donīt worry because a month after they transferred my case it was approved. Good luck!

It happened to me too, but I would also agree don't worry too much in a matter of 2 weeks I had an approval. But I can't believe you said 7 months wow. Keep your fingers cross they are shelling out approval like crazy, seems like they are trying to get rid of the backlog.

Hi johnsmith, I'm also in New Jersey and sent I-130 to Vermont in March. It was transferred to California today. Hang in there and don't ask too many rational questions, because nothing makes sense!

TracyLuis:

Your signature timelines says:

"02/09/2006: I-130 NOA1 received (transferred from TSC to CSC)"

I am presuming you filed at TSC. So...

1. Which came first, the notification of the transfer OR the NOA1?

2. Did the notification of the transfer come from TSC or CSC?

I filed at NSC on 6/30/2006, and have heard nothing yet... only the VJ'ers here have told me that my file is (LIKELY) enroute to CSC. My check has not been cashed... man how I wish they would cash that check to get a clue where my file is! yes.gif

I don't know exactly when my case was transferred to CSC. I received my NOA1 shortly after sending my petition to TSC. I only found out that my case was in California a couple of weeks ago when I called USCIS.

SO confusing, this whole thing... sad.gif
