O.K we are now going into our 6th month since we received our NOA1 and not a peep, sorry we had a "touch on the 1st December 2005, but think that was in response to an email we sent, basically telling us not to send again!!!

Over here in the UK we have a saying when things take so long "I'll be drawing my old age pension before anything happens" Well I am drawing my old age pension now!!!( "wish they wouldn't call it "old age" goodness 60 is NOT old!!!!) not in my eyes anyway whistling.gif

How much longer will we have to wait sad.gif it seems all doom and gloom coming out of CSC lately, good job I can keep on coming on here and getting a laugh from the jokes, the fun posts etc. but also being able to say Congratulations to someone who does get the approval. Must be a wonderful feeling good.gif think I will ever get mine whistling.gif

Sometimes I feel really down with this process, know I am not the only one, but no matter how hard I try, it is taking me longer to pull myself out of this totally depressive feeling. Good job I have a great hubby who is so philoshopical about things, What will be will be, he says!!

So if anyone from CSC is surfing here, please take pity on an "Old aged pensioner" and GIVE ME MY APPROVAL, (please good.gif )

Feel better now good.gif

Canuck Carrie
I'm sending you good thoughts! smile.gif

hey munchkins... I know how you feel, I do indeed. Give thanks that at least you are together with your loved one. I know that somedays are harder. I have watched for weeks and weeks people get approved, and it was difficult. Only when I put my mind in peace I felt better and guess what.... approval came. It is not a recipe, but trust me the day will come for you too...

Take Care
Lizzy
I SOOOOOOOO know how you feel.. its 6 months here for me to!!!!!

the only good thing we have is a lawyer that found out we had a name hit or we would still be in the dark, my guess is your in the same boat, but hey who knows!!!

I contacted congressman and they wairing for replay.

Good luck and patience,

Peter Miami
I wish you would get good news soon.

If I had any pull with the powers that be, I'd start pulling (I won't tell you where! tongue.gif ) to make them move faster.

However, sadly, I don't. The best I can offer is some hugs and sending some positive thoughts your way.

Sending huge {{{{hugs}}}} your way >>>>>> Waiting with no news is so horrible. Our Noa2 came through six months to the date of Noa1 exactly so you never know. You will be jumping with joy and we will all be doing a little happy dance with you when you hear.

When approval does come through you suddenly move into overdrive with all that has to be pulled together for the next stage!!!

Hubby and I figure we will be celebrating our first wedding anniversary before our interview date comes through. And we thought Georgie and Tone were bestest buddies. Hahaha.. no favours. sad.gif

Keep smiling!

I've received a lot of good advice here, but that was the best. We had a huge wait as well, with no feedback from the USCIS after several contact attempts resulted only in empty promises to get back to us with the nature of the holdup. It took about a week for someone in my congressman's office to determine that we were in AR, and find out where in that process we were currently at. Even after that, she touched base with us every couple weeks until we were through. Just being treated like a human and reassured that our case hadn't fallen behind a desk somewhere was an almost unbelievable relief.

I agree-I called my congressman last Thurs-Friday morning I rec'd a call back. Apparently my petition was pulled for some sort of AR(whether that is true has been under debate from many here on vj). Either way as upset as I have been, it was reassuring to hear "something" rather than here the canned response from USCIS. If you have been waiting 6 months, maybe you should contact someone.

What can I say, you are all absolutely brilliant and have made me feel so much better,

Daisy- all my next stage stuff is done and dusted and ready to go, my daughter has access tomy bank account in the states so as soon as the IV bill gets to her, she can have it paid, like yesterday, plus she has certain forms already filled in. Fingers crossed we are through the next stage quicker than this or I will be needing a zimmer frame to get about laughing.gif

I have one question for all of you good people who are keeping my spirits up,---

Donna(my daughter) emailed CSC over three weeks ago and they did not reply, now I have been told from them that I am not supposed to email because I am the beneficiary (did it once and got a telling off whistling.gif)

However, would you take the "bull by the horns" or what ever part of the anatomy you can get hold of ohmy.gif
and email them again yourself, in my case myself tongue.gif

Feeling better and it's my husband's birthday today, so even though he doesn't come on here, Happy Birthday to simply the best hubby ever. heart.gif

Will we get a response this time???

last time my daughter e-mailed CSC (about 4 weeks ago ) she did not even get a response, so she e-mailed them again last night, so let's see what happens, if nothing then I think it is time for her to get on to her representative, to see if the application has "been lost"

Need loads of MOJO our way please good.gif
irishgirl73
I would definetly try to do whatever you can..............I know how stressfull this is. If they won't give you any info-can't the petitioner call for you?
munchkins
Irish, she's already tried to phone for a full week !! and never got through,!!!
irishgirl73
I don't know what to say...............I called my congressman-he called & found out we are under some sort of review. I am going through vsc & since they are processing cases rec'd 30 days after mine, I could launch an investigation(if that's what you want to call it). I am sorry I don't have any other words of wisdom for you.

My fingers are crossed for ya!!! This is all so damn stressful

Hope you get your good news real soon yes.gif

Hang in there

Glad you found my advise helpful, we are still in your boat, no answer from congresmans or CSC, but i pray for you all and me that soon, we will be free of this legalised torture........... 6months is a long time.
siobhan36
