here is a timeline question...since you guys are getting all this info fromt eh timelines, maybe you can answer!

I assumed that RFE and RFE reply in the timeline meant when did you get the RFE and when did you send it back. Seems a lotof people are using it as when you sent it back and when you got receipt acknowledgement... so I updated my timeline to show the dates that way. Just curious how people are applying it...

RFE receipt acknowledged by CSC July 24.

This chart proves one thing for sure - there was no order to how CSC mailed out the RFEs. Some people who sent petitions in late April or early May got their RFE at the end of June or beginning of July while petitions sent in March got them in the middle of July.

On that topic, people who have NOT YET received RFEs - please don't sit back and wait any longer.

Contact your senator or congressman and light a fire - there is no reason for you to be sitting and waiting. You have to act.

Which is your NOA1?

The RFE recieved date I gave was the reciept back at the CSC. I recieved it on july 3rd. If nec, will you adjust but my understanding was the day that it was acknowledged by CSC

I'll fix that too right now - it wasn't until recently that I understood that the day they received my package was my true NOA1 and not the date I received the NOA1 in the mail (according to aussiewench).

There is a great variety in how the RFE receipts were reported. Many simply gave the 6/23 date of the notice as the received date. I think more people are interested in when the RFE actually arrived to the USC. Then, there is the date the USC returned their RFE response. And, (for those who used the USPS tracking system) there is the date the RFE arrived back at the CSC. Finally, there is the official RFE receipt date when they get the response noted in their tracking system and provide email confirmation of the action (or further "in-action"). All part of the paperwork process...

I put it in four columns to try and show as much information as everyone had reported - the RFE receipt date, the RFE return date, the RFE arrival to CSC, and the official receipt date for the RFE. It appears that most people received the RFE a day before or after July 4th. Then, there is the individual response times that vary from case to case. And, the efficiency of the service center varies -- some cases they input the response only a few days after it was received back. In other cases it took them upwards of a week.

I am sorry if the chart was not readable. Doesn't everyone have wide-screen monitors, yet?!

The one thing that I did note is that there were very few cases where the RFE had not yet arrived to the USC. If you have a situation like that, I recommend some action be taken soon.

Devilette, I don't think you may be seeing the full chart as I know in my own instance the RFE receipt was noted together with the return of July 20th...I think a number of the RFE returns you are missing may simply be showing up in some of the far columns.

If you wanna fix, it go ahead!

I was trying to only udse the RFE receipt email date, since that is when we are entered in their system. They sat on my RFEs for days after it's actual physical arrival, I'm guessing because of the sheer volume!

If someone is updating the chart. My RFE was recieved on 7/11.

My NOA1 was March 6th, My RFE reciept date was July 20th.

I hope we all get approvals soon.

I am interested to know if they are only working on people originally in California or if us that were transferred from Nebraska are mixed in there too.

kitkat, actually your NOA1 date is listed as "Notice Date" on the form you receive. Do not confuse this with the "received date," which is the date your package arrived in their mail bin.

It is sad when so many are desperate simply to receive confirmation that the service center has received an RFE response from us. What have we been reduced to!! Just emphasizes how removed things have become from focus on getting out the NOA2's...
