When you received your IMBRA RFE, were you assigned an Alien Registration Number (A#)?

Mine also. I didn't think they did that until the visa was issued but I guess I was wrong!

We got our A# on the original NOA1.

I came to the US 15 years ago and got my A# then. I got my citizenship through Naturalization 9 years ago. When I filled out I-129F there was a box which I understood was related to me asking for A#. I was not sure I needed that as I am a US citizen but decided to provide it anyway. That number appeared above my name on NOA1.

Did they assign an A# to beneficiary in your case?

I also thought the A# was only assigned when your petition was approved, at least that is what I read somewhere before, but I guess that I was wrong also.

The A# for my fiance was on the NOA1, but not on the RFE blue sheet??? Longing to be touched, fondled, molested, whatever I can get at this point. I'm easy!

They used the A-number I already have from my ER. We noticed it's in the IMBRA RFE from.

David's A# was on our NOA1.... thanks for making me look for it!!!

The A# numbers means all other processing was already complete on your case before IMBRA RFE.

How can that be? The NOA1 is just an acknowledgement that they received the petition....

Then that means I was approved the same day they sent my NOA1. (wishful thinking on my part, I know this is not true). It sure would be nice if it could happen that way though.

I don't see it that way either, the NOA-1 we received had the A# affixed to it. We had just started the process. I really wish that were true though!!!
