Hello People,

Welcome to Take a check and wait forever !

Get this, From Original Submission of the 129F thru Approval, NVC approval 3 Weeks Total !
Not Bad Right ?

Here's the catch. Since NVC Notification on 5/01/06 Guangzhou China still has not received the File !
Their Email states due to Mail transit times and Customs processing, it may take two to three months to Receive the File ! Hey better feed the Pony Express, They are starting to slow down. Customs ? for Diplomatic mail ? Hmmm Thats a new one

Anyhow, in Checking today with USCIS they respond to my question of IMBRA, that if I am approved that I am approved. OK, then why is everyone getting the RFE's right.
I asked If I can send IMBRA Info to USCIS and they say not without an RFE so, Now I must wait for China to find MY File and officially receive it, only then to mail it back for IMBRA info right ?
Then to wait again 3-4 months for china to receive my file again and by Christmas perhaps my Fiance may finally get her DS-230. Talk about the most inefficient agency out there, DOS Wins hands Down headbonk.gif

My Question, anyone out there with a similar Guangzhou China problem ? I would like to hear from You

Hi Henry

I think, your petition is being recalled. You are being affected by IMBRA law. Your petition is being sent back to USCIS. So, please don't expect consulate will send packet 3 to your fiancee any time soon.

Henry&Xia,

Your situation is common.

These shipments are not diplomatic mail. The Chinese Customs department does sometimes take their own sweet time clearing these package through and is are not a division of the US DoS - put the blame where it lies.

To Henry & Xia:

Consider yourself VERY lucky that you are dealing with Vermont!! I waited 25 days from my submitting my I-129F to Nebraska until the date for my receipt from California.

That said, I share your concern with the long delay from NVC to Guangzhou Packet 3. I will be enduring that wait. But if it is by October, I will consider us lucky.

Tom
