As a K-3 visa holder - when you enter the US you will need to apply to adjust status (AOS; this is necessary to obtain a PR/Green Card), along with that, you may apply for EAD (Employment Authorization) - once you have either one of those (The EAD or PR/Green Card) and a proper I.D. you can go to the nearest social security administration office and apply for the social security card .

ya fallaha!
As others said above, you must either apply for AOS and/or EAD before obtaining a Social Security number. May I suggest that you hold off on filing AOS until you have been married close to two years? If AOS is approved AFTER you've been married two years you will be granted the 10 year permanent residency instead of the two year. You can always apply for a stand alone EAD card as soon as you arrive in the US. This will enable you to work and apply for a Social Security card. The EAD should take around 3-5 months to receive.
