My interview date is Sunday (January24) and I'll get to ABDH on Friday (there are 3 flights from Tehran to ABDH per week - Sunday/Wednesday/Friday)! I have to do the medical examination Friday to get the result Saturday BUT the problem is that Friday and Saturday are weekend time in ABDH! Does any one know if medical centers are open and handle the examination during weekend there? I wrote to Dr. McCulloch and he replied that his clinic is closed during weekend... how about the other two centers?

I guess you Answered your question. I wouldn't bet on luck, I would take Earliest flight on Wed. and just setup the appointment the same day that you arrive there so you can be on the safe side.

you just don't want to go to the embassy without medical report. because they wont even let you in.

I believe New Medical Center Abudhabi is opened on weekends, try calling them.

I called New Medical Center today! They couldn't speak English but they passed telehpone several times till the 5th person told me that they work during weekend and if I go there on Friday they give me the result Saturday but now I'm thinking about some thing else.... the Interview fee... I guess banks are closed also... Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

I think you should go there Wednesday. Since you never know what happens. Unless, you can find a Tour in Tehran that is specialized for Iranians applying for US visas. They are usually cheap! My fiancee used them for her interview and also after the AP. They take you wherever is required and includes Hotel and flight (round trip). For my fiancée it cost her $650 for Turkish air flight and stay in Hilton, which is very close to the embassy. See if this works for you. At least you have peace of mind.

I received an e-mail from New Medical Center in Abu Dhabi, making an appointment for Saturday and they say for urgent cases they give result in one day but they charge more! It's good news!
